Welcome to
December's
Question of the Month

Choose the best answer for each question.

It's the holidays! You are feeling very festive. You really want to outdo your neighbors with a lighting display that will have cars lining up to gaze at your lighting exhibition.

Once your electrical extravaganza is up and running, how long can you leave the extension cords and stapled wiring on your house without violating the NEC (national electric code).

A) Never. The code does not recognize holiday decoration displays.

B) 90 days. This covers November, December, and January

C) 365 days for each occurrence. This explains why some people leave their lights up all year.

D) 1 week. Bah-humbug.
